Fettling Shop

From the casting through to the blanks

The fettling shop is the service provider for the foundry.

After casting, the casting clusters are cored, separated and freed of metal residues. Finally, the casting blank is blasted and subjected to a 100% final inspection.

To enhance the material properties, an additional heat treatment according to T5, T6 or T7 can be carried out in-house.

With our own large fettling shop, we are deliberately bucking the industry trend towards outsourcing. The installed capacities enable a flexible, rapid processing of customer orders and represent a core competence in terms of expertise and quality.
